How to crop a screenshot on Mac?

Using the Built-In Screenshot Cropping Tool

  1. Immediately after taking a screenshot in macOS, you will notice a floating thumbnail in the bottom right corner of the screen. It is a thumbnail of the screenshot that you just captured.
